39 Clues

Okay, so I know I have posted about this series before. But at the library they didn’t have the newest books, so I stopped reading the series, then I started back up again when the library got more books. So yeah Amy and Dan Cahill are in a family that it trying to protect the world, well in a way. Most of them are killing each other to become the most powerful person in the world. There our five branches of the Cahill family,  The Janus, The Lucian, The Ekataerian, The Tomas, and The Madrigals. The Holts are in the Tomas branch, they are very buff. Alistair Oh and the Starling triplets are in the Ekataerian branch, they are very clever. Jonah Wizard is a rockstar, he is in the Janus branch, he is very artistic. Irina Spasky is in the Lucian branch she is a secret agent. Ian and Natalie Kabra are also in the Lucian branch, they can pretty much get away with anything with their supermodel great looks. Then there’s Amy and Dan they are in the Madrigal branch, they are very smart and enthusiastic.

Warriors Part 4

A few days after the attack from Tigerclaw and his rogue friends .Bluestar made Fireheart her deputy, Fireheart was very proud. At the next gathering, every Clan was there. It was when ShadowClan came out of the bushes and Fireheart realized that ShadowClan's new leader was Tigerclaw! Fireheart's neck fur bristled and his eyes glittered with rage, Sandstorm, Fireheart's friend came and looked at him with big fearful eyes. A couple days later Cinderpelt, ThunderClan's  Medicine cat, came out from her den and told Bluestar and Fireheart that she had a dream that some cat kept on whispering in her ear, "Pack! Pack! Kill! Kill! Bluestar and and Fireheart looked at each other worryingly.................

Warriors part 3

 Tigerclaw’s hunger for power drives him crazy. If you are a leader than you have nine lives, Bluestar is on her second to last  last life. Tiger claw teams up with a band of rogues and leads them into camp to attack, while the rest of the camp is fighting, Tigerclaw surprises Bluestar and tries to take her first life away. Luckily Fireheart comes in right before Tigerclaw takes away Bluestar’s life. Tigerclaw and his rogue friends are driven off by all of the ThunderClan. Sadly, from her wounds Bluestar loses another life, with only one left.

Warriors Part 2

ThunderClan has a new deputy, his name is Tigerclaw, the Clan leader's name is Bluestar. ( Bluestar is a she-cat) Ravenpaw, Firepaw's friend is very scared of Tigerclaw, Firepaw wonders why. Ravenpaw tells Firepaw that the Clan's last deputy, Redtail was in a fight, Ravenpaw and Tigerclaw were there too. Redtail had killed the warrior that was attacking him and Tigerclaw told Ravenpaw to go back to camp, but Ravenpaw stayed and saw Tigerclaw jump on Redtail and he  caught him by surprise and soon killed him. Tigerclaw took Redtail back to camp and said that a different killed him. Tigerclaw soon got bad tempered again when Lionheart was made deputy instead of himself. A little while later another Clan named ShadowClan came and attacked, Lionheart got killed and Tigerclaw was made deputy. Firepaw and his friend Graypaw took Ravenpaw to a farm where he stayed happily. Graypaw and Firepaw were made warriors after helping defend the camp. Their new warrior names are Graystripe and Fireheart.

Firepaw is now part of the thunderclan, you are probably wondering " what in the world is the thunderclan? Well I will tell you. Rusty is a cat, he lives with his friends in the neighborhood. One day he went into the forest and he got attacked by a different cat, Rusty and the other cat fought for a while until two big cats came along. The cat that had fought him was an apprentice in the thunderclan and the two big cats turned out to be the leaders of the thunderclan. They asked him if he wanted to join and he said "yes". So now Rusty's name has changed to Firepaw.

The 39 clues................ again

The 39 clues have sent fourteen year old Amy Cahill and her eleven year old brother to South Africa. The strangest thing happened, a KGB agent Irina Spasky, who almost killed them in Russia had just saved Amy and Dan’s lives, and she sacrificed herself. Amy took Irina’s wallet that contained everybody that was in the 39 clues ID cards. Amy and Dan used the ID cards to infiltrate the Tomas branch hideout. At the hideout they found the clue, it was Aloe. Amy and Dan have just found out the most horrifying thing, they are Madrigals!

Amy and Dan have gone to Vienna, Paris, Egypt, Japan, Russia, and Australia. The scavenger hunt they go on takes them all around the world. The prize that you get after the scavenger hunt is the most valuable thing in the world. I do not even know what the prize is. At every street there is something always waiting around the corner getting ready to jump them and squeeze the clue out of their mouths. At the moment Amy and Dan are trying to find out more about their parents, since they are already researching their parents they are also researching who killed them. Their parent had died when Dan was still a baby, somebody had come one night and set their house on fire and killed Amy and Dan’s mom and dad. They cannot trust anybody, not even their au pair who takes them all around the world.

The 39 clues

Amy and Dan Cahill are part of the dangerous and most important family in the world. They are related to Benjamin Franklin, Mozart, Amelia Earhart, Leonardo Devinci, and lots more.  There are four branches of that one family. The names of the branches are the Ekats, the Janus, the Lucians, and the Tomas. There is one more branch that every other branch is afraid of. The people in that branch are called Madrigals. The main person in the Ekat branch is Amy and Dan’s uncle Alistair Oh, he is Japanese. The main person in the Janus branch is named Jonah Wizard, he owns a TV show called “ Who wants to be a gangster.” So he can’t sneak around since he is so popular. The main people in the Lucian branch are the Kabras, they are a family with two children named Natalie and Ian, Natalie is eleven and Ian is fourteen. Their mother’s name is Isabel, she is forty. The main people in the Tomas branch are the Holts they have three children. Their dad’s name is Eisenhower, their mom’s name is Mary-Todd. Their names are Hamilton, Madison, and Reagan. Madison and Reagan are twins and they are both eleven. Hamilton is fourteen. Their whole family is as strong as lots of ox.

The main charater is Eragon.

Eragon is a boy about 17 years old.  He can be proud, although he cna be humbled really easily.  He found out that his father was a very bad guy in the story. He has a cousin named Roran who cna take responsibility.

Eragon does the right thing when he put others in front of himself and fights to save the lives of many people.

Roran Garrowson

Roran is Eragon's cousin.  His father was killed by the a vicous enemy called the Raz'ak. And his betrothed was also kidnapped by the Raz'ak.  He can take responsibility, for his actions.  He can be a great leader.

Galbatorix

Galbatorix is a cruel, selfish, power-lusting, dragon rider.  He is hundreds of years old but is still very powerful. 

The story takes place in a land called Alagaesia.  It would be around the time of the nights and castles.

This story is about, courage, greed, love, doing the right thing, power, and magic.

Near the end of the book their is a big war, between Galbatorix's army, and the Varden.(The Varden is a rebel for created to fight against Galbatorix) Galbatorix's army has many magic practicing migisians protecting his army. So Eragon had to find them with his mind and kill them.

1. After the battle in Farthen Dur, Eragon went to the place where the Elves live, called Elesme`ra to complete his training.
2. During his training he began understand the meaning of magic, the way it works, the way that it flows.
3. After staying in Elesme`ra for a little while, the dragons give Eragon the gift of becoming a real elf.
4. In the end Eragon left Elesme`ra to fight in the battle against Galbatorix, where he finds that Murtagh(his old friend) was actually a bad dragon rider.

I think that the book was very good. Although I still think that Rangers Appreintice is better. 

I really like how the main character is just a normal farm boy, and he is blessed with the gift of become one of the last dragon riders.

The story can be kind of confusing at times, but it is still really good.

The story wasn't very pradictable.

The ending was really good.

The Whipping Boy was written by Sid Fleischman Male

The main character is Jemmy he is a rat catcher and he catches rats from the sewers.

Another main character Is prince Horace also known as Prince brat because he did so many pranks that he was a brat.

It was back in medeval times when this happened and I dont't where it was.

The story was about doing the right thing and sadness.

Jemmy and Prince brat were running away and they got kidnapped by two theives then they ran away from them then they got cought again and then they escaped and went to the sewars and then they got away because the two theives almost got eaten alive by rats and then they stowawayed onto a criminal and they were put onto a an Island.

I thought the book was bad.

I liked how it wasn't very long.

I didn't like how Prince brat was such a traitor.

The story was not predictable.

The ending was OK but boring.

A boy about twelve who lives in America but likes to sometimes visit his friend Oliver over in Paris.

A girl about the age of thirteen, Oliver likes her, she is very witty and can sometimes be rude.

The story was supposed to take place in Paris around 1197-2000.

This story is about, courage, friends, greed, jealousy, sadness.

The bad guy, he Master of the Mirror is what they called him were stealing all of the people souls so in order to stop him they had to confront him and take him prisoner so they fought and won.

1.  Oliver is living a normal life, until his whole world changes when he is made the new king in the window in order to confront the Master of the Mirrors.   
2.  He meets the people who want his to fight for there cause, the window wraiths.  He gets his sword, a key, and his paper crown and leaves to confront the Master of the Mirrors.
3.  The Master of the Mirrors gets a hold of of the key and unlocks the mask on his face.  That is when he became free to leave the world of mirrors.  
4.  Oliver follows him in order to confront him and destroy him.  They have a big battle in the streets of Paris and Oliver wins.

I thought the book was very good.
I really like it how the book gave a little detail but not to much to make you board.
The story did get confusing at some parts in the book, like when they would start talking about their plans.
The story was kind of predictable but not that much.
The ending was pretty good.

My story starts in a little brown house with six little people in is Mrs. pepper, Ebenezer, Mary, Joel, Davie, and Sophronia. Just sitting down Mrs. pepper was sowing and so was Polly Ebenezer was telling Joel and Davie a story and phronsie was playing with her little rag doll. Then after a while phronsie wanted to go outside for some nice fresh air.  When she got outside she found a little monkey so she followed it and it went right into a big nasty man then a little while latter Polly thought that phronsie should come inside but when she went outside phronsie was no where to be found so she looked and looked and finally she found her laying down on the grass so Polly went down to the house to let phronsie sleep. A few months later it was Christmas time we were making lot so of things. finally the day came and it was the best Christmas they had ever had!

Well, my story starts in a house. In New York, when Mrs Little was having her second child.
When it was out it looked just like a mouse!Mrs Little was worried, she thought she was going to have a real baby, but she just had a mouse instead.  Well, at least they thought it was a mouse. It had whiskers and it had a bit of furry soft fur and it had a tail! they were so surprised. A week later he was climbing up the lamps! he was very hard to keep track of. He always got into trouble one day when he was going out to try his new skates. (they were actually paper clips with a little bit of string tied to them that his father made him ) when he saw a dog he hated dogs so he dove into the garbage can! then a little while later he noticed that he was thrown into the garbage truck!then a little, while later he saw that the truck was tipping to the side! and he was about to go off the edge when his friend came she was A bird and she came and picked him up.And brought him home!

The series of unfortunate events By Lemmany Snicket He was a male.

One of the main charectars is Violet she is an inventer.
Klaus is another main charechtar He reads a lot.
Sunny is the next main charectar she has very sharpe teeth and she likes to bite things with them.

The time was a wile ago and the place was a lot of places.

The story were about courage, working hard, Careing, and sadness.

Sunny was put in count Olafs car and Violet and Klaus had to go in a trailer  that was attached to it.  Then the bad people cut the rope that was holding it and  they started roling down the hill. Then count Olaf thought that they had fallen off the cliff and died. But Violet made an invention and saved them. Then they acted like they were other people so that Count Olaf wouldn't know that it was actually them.

It thought that the books were really sad.
I liked the books.
I didn't like how so many people died in them.
The story wasn't confusing or hard to believe.
The story wasn't predictable.
The end was sad.

Noah is a man about the age of 30, he is very considerate guy.

The time was during the civil war.
Jeff recruits as a Kansas volunteer.

The author might be trying to say that there we good people on both side.  He also finds out about all the wastes of war.  And to never lose hope.

This story is about, courage, love, jealousy, betrail, and greed. 

One problem in this story is, the war is going on, and to make the war end faster, Jeff joins.

1. In the beginning Jeff joins the army, and on the way he meets with some of his friends that want to go with him.

2. Jeff joins the army and he is put in the Kansas volunteer infantry along with his friends.  At first when he joins the training is really hard.

3.In the first battle that he was going to fight in he was called back to go and find the quarter master.  But Jeff did not want to leave from his first battle. But he had to go anyway. And he meets a really pretty girl called Lucy washbourne.

4. Later in the story Jeff is order to go into the enemy camp as a spy and find out the generals plans.  He goes with one of his friends that lies to the other army that they wanted to join.

5. Jeff's friend dies in the middle a battle by his own people so Jeff is left all alone.  Later Jeff finds out some very important new that some one in the union were selling really good guns to the south.

6. Jeff rides out to go and tell the new to general blunt.   In the end of the story Jeff is promoted to a Sargent and he leaves for home. 

I thought the book was really good.  Not to much detail and very exciting.
I really liked it how it was exciting, it was a war book but it didn't really have that mush language in it.
In some parts it did get a little confusing.
The book was not very predictable.
The ending wasn't very good, it was like it ended in the middle.

Once upon a time there was a boy that was named Manwick  he had just got back from the fields and it was a hot day when he got home "what are you doing so soon" "well it is really, really hot outside so I came back" "do you have anything to do" "no" he said "well then take this jar of butter and sell it at the town.(Manwick had never seen the town before.  His mother thought it would be to big for him but now she thought it was a good time).  So Manwick was ready to go to town now so he skipped along the road then he came to a rock were he stopped and he said "hello friend would like to have some nice butter because it looks like you are the town because you are really big so I will give you all my butter but you have to pay for it tomorrow and so he came down that path again the next day and found out that he had not been able to get his money so he kept hitting the rock then it fell over and there was tons of gold!

My story starts with a young boy named Nathan he is living with Mrs. Hodges she is an very old lady but she is not like other nice old lady's she was the meanest lady in the whole town she treated Nathan like a slave well any way one day wile he was ploughing the fields a peddler cam along Nathan decided to walk with  him to the end of the field after that he went back to misses Hodges house he nocked on the door and when it was opened miss hodges said who said you could go with that peddler so that night he had to sleep in the barnand wile he was trying to go to bed he had a plan he would find his cousin in grantville so the next morning he woke up early to wait for the peddler and when the peddler was finally in sight he called him and told him his planand so they were walking untill they met up with some people that were going to help with a house building and so they followed them till they came there there were half a hundred there were lots then he saw a boy then Nathan decided that he would talk and after that they went and began to be best friends and then the peddler told nathan that he had his wish come true! his cossin was there and the peddler was going to stay the whole winter it was all that he could ask for he loved his new family this was the first time he was really happy.

This book was published in New York,NY in 1970.

In this book it talks about how a lot of the jews that lived in Germany were hated very much.
It talked about how a lot of them had tried to escape by train. It was also very danger for them to try to escape.
Also a lot of them tried to smuggle money to America but if you got caught by the guards you would get in very big trouble.
It showed how a lot of Jews went through a lot of trouble trying to get to America it also showed that even in Switzerland some people wasn't very nice.

I kind of like how it was not very long and how it does not give very many details.

I did not like it how it was all about three girls.

The title represent the title in the way that these girls and there mother were trying to get to America

I don't think that that there was any fiction added to this book.

Tim Meeker is the main character.

The book starts out with Tim as twelve years old, and it ends at about four years later.  He is the son of a tavern owner, trying to decide which side of the revolutionary war he is supporting.  He is the youngest of two kids.

Tim does right when he steps up to the man of the house after his father dies, and his brother runs away.

Sam Meeker is Tim's older brother.

He is a college student finding himself on the Rebel's side during the revolutionary war.  He takes his father's gun and heads off to fight in the war, leaving his father, mother, and younger brother to fend for themselves.

Life Meeker is Tim's father.

He owns a tavern, and firmly believes that all colonist were under the authority of the King, and that no matter what he did, it was their duty to remain faithful to the King.  He truly is the head of the family, and takes no division among his family.

In America during the Revolutionary War.

The specific place in the story is Redding, Connecticut.

Maybe that War is a gruesome thing, and sometimes unfair, yet sometimes necessary

I learned that not all that the American's did was right in the War, or as they put it, 'war turns men into beast'.

1. Sam takes his father's gun and runs off to join the war, against his father's will, on the rebel's side.
2. On a trip to trade cattle, Tim's father is taken captive by the BRITISH, and died two months later on a prison ship.
3. Tim steps up into his father's position, and takes care of his mother.
4. Tim finds out that Sam's regiment is going to be staying a mile away, and Sam himself is going to be in with the general, in the house next to him.
5. Sam is accused of cattle thieving (which he didn't), and is shot a month later.

It was a good book, but had quite a bit of language.

I liked in the end how Tim tried to save his brother, it showed real love.

I didn't like how it took so long for Tim to decide whether he was a Tory or a Rebel.

It was kind of confusing when it told all about like where Sam's regiment was staying, because I'm not familiar with all the different cities.

No, the story wasn't really predictable.

Extremely sad.  Sam is shot for a crime he did not do.
